  • After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

Please understand that opting out of certain communications may prevent Opportunity House from sending certain non-essential information by text message.

Where permitted or required by law, you may continue to receive certain operational, safety-related, service-related, or legally required communications.

9. Email Communications

Opportunity House may communicate with you by email for service-related, administrative, scheduling, organizational, or other permitted purposes.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential promotional or informational emails by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the email or by contacting Opportunity House.

Opportunity House will take reasonable precautions to protect confidential information transmitted electronically.

  • Text messages may appear on a phone’s lock screen or notification screen;
  • Other individuals with access to a mobile device may potentially see messages;
  • Wireless carriers may process messaging information;
  • Opportunity House cannot control the security of a personal device after a message is delivered; and
  • Individuals should not send highly sensitive medical information through standard SMS/text messaging unless specifically instructed to do so.

Where required, Opportunity House may use secure portals, encrypted communications, or other appropriate technologies.

12. No Marketing Sale or Sharing of SMS Information

Opportunity House will not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number or SMS/text messaging information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

Your consent to receive SMS/text messages from Opportunity House does not authorize us to provide your telephone number or other personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Your information may be provided to a service provider when necessary to facilitate communications on behalf of Opportunity House, subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, contractual, and legal requirements.

Opportunity House maintains reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information and PHI.
